Chicken skewers (tangy), salad (crisp) and fries (thick) with white garlic sauce plus beer for me. Grubb had similar except fish skewers and he chose curry ketchup as the sauce for French fry dipping. And the non alcoholic sparkling water.
Today I tried the Tripel karmeliet beer. “An Abbey-style blonde beer by Brouwerij Bosteels in Buggenhout. It’s made from three grains – oats, barley and wheat, which is an authentic beer recipe dating back to 1679. There is a yeast deposit at the bottom of the bottle, which you can either leave or drink, depending on your taste buds.”
Have your tried any of the Belgian sour beers?
I’m not sure I’d know which were sour beers but no, probably not. Only tried the St. Bernardenas (white, citrusy) and a local Mechelen beer which just tasted kind of hoppy. I guess I’ll have to consult my AI beer expert.
