Kagoshima photos

Bride and groom coming from small shrine

We stumbled upon the red light district

Walked along the river

Walked thru a plant market
Vending machine dinners
Camphor trees
Ever present cherry blossoms

30 bucks for the room. Sounds fair. I’ll bet they are spotless.

I’ve heard that the Japanese have vending machines for everything. I’d like to try the whole meals.

Grubb loves the cafe au lait. Comes in a can or bottle and comes hot out of the vending machine. 140 to 180 Yen. You can also get cafe au lait cold.

I found it interesting that signs in the red light district where in (or had a lot of) English.

Maybe targeting international visiting businessmen? There are many who come from other Asian countries. Haven’t seen many western faces but that doesn’t mean much.

And way back, they might have been targeting sailors.
