I just need to mention we spent a lovely evening at Hendrik and Gina’s place in den Haag after our visit to the Mauritshuis. So much news to catch up on. The last time we were here, three years ago, Hendrik and Gina had both contracted Covid and so we were only able to visit with Hendrik briefly in an outdoor cafe. Before that, our last visit with Hendrik and Gina was in 2016 when, among other fun things, they took us on a long bicycle ride to the beach. Fondly remembered.
We spent time chatting in their garden and then discussing the state of the world over an Indonesian dinner. It’s always interesting to get the European point of view.
