I mentioned we stepped into St. Paul’s Cathedral and Grubb has written a post on the hidden statue of Lucifer. I was more taken with the cloister, which was entered through a massive wooden door and might easily be missed if weren’t standing ajar with a view down the beautiful Gothic ogival arched hallway.
In the middle of one leg of the u-shaped cloister, there was an art exhibition. I neglected to scan for the information on the artist.
Back out in the Cathedral, I was struck by the modern stained glass.
A large placard read “A religious heritage is more than just museum-related; it is the imprint of a faith. It is up to each generation to carry on in the same vein.” This explains the presence of the stained glass series “Architecture of Light” and the presence of the art exhibition in the gothic cloister.
That stained glass is beautiful. Also the gothic arches.

Agreed on the stained glass, very unique. Also too bad you didn’t get the name of the artist who did the paintings, I’ve been looking for something like that for our place.
Rich in saturated color! If we are in the area today, I will duck in and scan.
