Plenty of people were out enjoying a sunny King’s Day afternoon in Den Haag, but the only traffic we had to be on alert for were of the two wheel variety. It’s eerie how quiet a street can get when people aren’t behind the wheel revving up their frustrations.

I think they are called Poffertjes. Made with yeast and buckwheat flour. Super light and fluffy. Served with butter and sugar.
