We tried the skagentost (called Skgenrore here) again despite the horrible experience at Louise a few nights ago. This was outstanding. Yes, that’s a crawfish on top. The shrimp tasted like shrimp and not macaroni. There were some extras, like a little pile of lox and sliced hard boiled egg topped with roe.
I had the creamy fish soup that I’ve come to love. This one filled with salmon, shrimp, mussels. Topped with a crawfish which I set aside.
Grubb had grilled reindeer with sautéed zucchini, brussel sprouts, mushrooms. That’s mushroom sauce in the little pitcher and some lingonberry jam. The grill reindeer was quite tender Grubb says.
Now all that looks absolutely delicious, especially the Skgenrore.
