I’ll bet you’ve been missing this 🤪. The food on the ferry was not bad but nothing to write home about, except the breakfast buffets. They had everything you could ever want. I had a nice little glass of lingonberry smoothie one morning.
In Tromsø last night, we had dinner at Nyt (does not stand for New York Times). Sort of a Cafe/bar. Reindeer burgers with all the fixings were quite nice.
Today, we had our meal at Walter & Leonard. It has a French ambience, some French items and some traditional Norwegian items done with a French flare.
We had Skagentost (baby shrimp, lox, roe, in a light cream sauce piled on toast) and asparagus in Bernaise sauce as starters. For the main, we each had fish soup, a typical Norwegian dish, but this had that touch of French elegance. All delicious.
