Greenville, another small Maine town, population 1500, but nudging the largest lake in Maine, Moosehead Lake, it attracts water-loving visitors from afar. For the non-claustrophobics, you can take a scenic tour by sea-plane or if you need more open space, by boat, the heritage-designated Katahdin, which offers one cruise a day, rain or shine. We did that three hour cruise yesterday and followed with a stroll around town and dinner at the Dockside Inn and Tavern.
Dinner was fine. Crab-stuffed sole for Grubb; lobster roll for me. And silly me, I indulged in a mango-jalapeño margarita, not as good as Mary Pat’s signature jalapeño margarita but still it had a spicy kick.
This morning, no spectacular sunrise. All fog.
