Speaking of which, have you seen any peregrinos (pilgrims) in Porto? That’s where we started our camino in 2016. You can spot the pilgrims by their backpacks, hiking clothes/shoes, sometimes poles. Often scallop shells hanging from their backpacks. I guess you’ll also spot pilgrims to Fatima as well.

We have seen some pilgrims…or at least people with back packs and walking sticks. I didn’t notice any shells though. When we took the train to Braga, there were 3 women sitting across from us with backpacks (and tents).. They got off the train at Nine.
