Rainy day walking

Amalfa, the beloved cartoon character. In Buenos Aires, there was a queue a block long just for the honor of a taking a pic of this 6 year old. Here in Córdoba, poor thing was alone in the rain.

Grubb keeps Amalfa dry

We stopped for coffee. This woman had been listening to a guy talking for a solid 20 minutes when he got up to use the facilities. I think she is begging a friend to come get her out of there. What do you think?

Get me outta here

Meanwhile, I’m trying not to stare as I sip my cafe mocha. Here’s what I get to drool over.

And a few other rainy day on the streets photos.

Don’t know who this character is
Martin, the hero

That’s so fun and funny how you figured out what was going on with the woman (trying to get away from the non-stop-talker). I guess you’ll never know for sure if that is the true story. I find it amazing how often I/we make up stories to fit what we see, especially when traveling. Sometimes we might be right. And it’s fun.

Aren’t you supposed to have a friend call you an hour into a first coffee date so you can fake an emergency?

      I guess she was desperate.
