A well behaved rally on Plaza Indepencia. Along with simmering sunsets viewed from our 11th story AirBnB.
What were they protesting? Gaza? Inflation?
I asked a few people (local Uruguayans) today. No one knew.
It seems so exotic where you are. In a way more adventurous and scary than Morocco but I’m not sure I can put my finger on it. Those high rises are certainly a different world than the Near NE Heights.
I was a little more anxious about this trip than Morocco. Not sure I could say exactly why. But it’s been great and challenging.
