Our last few days in Buenos Aires will be spent in the Palermo district. Similar to the upper east side in Manhattan, it’s more upscale than the Recoleta district that we stayed in four weeks ago. Venturing out on our first exploration of the neighborhood it seemed we passed restaurants and cafes on every block. Wide sidewalks, many people walking dogs. It’s a Monday afternoon, but it seems like a Sunday afternoon without the loud cries of men watching soccer.
When our taxi dropped us off at our AirBnB at first I thought we had arranged to stay in a bank vault.
If there’s another coup d’etat, no one is going to be kicking this door down.
Ok, I want to see the inside of that place!
Yes me too!!
you might be disappointed. But I will take a few pics for you and Wynette 😀
The door is the fanciest bit.
