In trying to ignore election news today (we voted before we left), we spent a few hours tucked away in a medieval village situated in the hills east of Nice. For those of you glued to the results and polls as they come in, take a moment to breathe with us on a hill top over-looking a sparkling sea.
Eze is meant to charm with its narrow cobblestone walk ways, exotic garden at the tippy top, and even in November, there are a lot of us tourists. I can’t say as I found anything extraordinary to expound about. Mostly, there are great views. There is a connection to Nietzsche but I think that’ll be Grubb’s tale to tell.w
Transportation was easy going up. Line 1 tram to bus 82 which took us all the up to the village.
So let me just show you the place in photos.
I wish I was there. 😵💫
