The last day of our one week reunion on San Juan Island has come to a close. Tomorrow (Tuesday 6/14) we take the 11am ferry back to the mainland and make the two hour drive to Seattle. Nancy and Claudia have flights booked home for tomorrow evening. Margaret and I fly home on Wednesday.
Today was mostly a hanging out day although we did drive to the Mt. Grant Preserve for a hike to the summit. Don’t get too impressed, the summit is only at an elevation of 736 ft elevation. Beautiful views from the top.
San Juan Island is beautiful. We’ve enjoyed our stay immensely. we are already talking about our next destination. Where will it be?
