This morning on our Oslo ramble we came across a small square where little bronze figurines were crammed into even smaller squares. It was hard not to trip over them.

YIKES!!! What was the artist depicting?
It might be open to interpretation here is what Atlas Obscurra says:
“The unassuming square sits just outside an office block. There, thousands of mini bronze figurines either take the place of paving stones (which have been removed) or are under them. It gives off the illusion that some of the stones are being lifted from the sidewalk. The installation is meant to embody a grassroots movement. With the varying ages, sex, and ethnicity of the figures, it also represents a united mass. “
Like all art, I think it’s in the eye of the beholder, and this beholder thinks the artist is depicting the packs of tourists getting off the cruise ships.
