Out of 100 Tunnelbana stations (T-bana, metro, subway, trains that go underground) in the greater Stockholm area, about 90 have been artistically accessorized. As an ending to the day on Sunday, we decided to explore a few stops on the T11 blue line. We happened to be near T-Centralen so that’s where we started. Today, we added a few more art stops.
T-Centralen: I call it “creeping vines in a cavern”

Akalla. We rode to the northern end of the line at Akalla and popped up to the surface into a small plaza beyond which was a forested park. Comic book cavern?

Nåckrosen. Site of Grubb’s homage to Ingmar Bergman. Rocky caverns.

Solna Centrum: Red cavern

Våstra Skogen: Long escalator.

Kungstradgården: Roman ruins

Stadion: stop for the 1912 Olympic Stadium.
