What a great way to see another side of the Cape. We enjoyed wonderful hospitality, expeditions to the Atlantic, got a flavor of the history, including the Native American cultures, not to mention the all-you-can eat lobster dinner.
Marc and I are second cousins: our fathers, Irwin and Joe, are first cousins. I got to hear some stories I’d never heard before, of my father as a young man. And even though we’d spent time with Marc and Judi in Oaxaca a few years ago, it was nice to get to know them a little more in depth. As kids, Marc grew up on the east coast, me in the west and we’d only met a couple of times (or maybe just once) as kids.
Thanks to Marc and Judi for giving our “kids” such a great time. We met them at Joe’s 100th birthday and again the next day at Mike and Mary Pat’s.
That was such a special occasion and we were thrilled to meet them there.
What I miss most when we were on the east coast, was the lobster fest we attended there.
So, when I hear about it, my mouth waters.
Thanks again to our great cousins.
Love
Gussie/Mom
You’re very welcome, we really had a good time, and hope you’ll come back and visit with us again. We look forward to a trip to Albuquerque in October 2024. Enjoy the rest of your New England tour!
